Officially created a Basilica (a Church of major importance, that has been given special ceremonial rites by the Pope), Sagrada Familia Church has to be one of the wonders of the Christian World. Building began in the 1880's, and it is scheduled for completion in 1926. Remarkable architecture and an amazing mix of natural and artificial light - in places through wonderful stained glass windows - helps make the interior an inspirational - and must visit - place, not only for Christians, but for anyone who appreciates a building of such extraordinary design and beauty.
