Anglesey, Rhosmeirch, Ebenezer Chapel - founded in 1749

Ebenezer Chapel in Rhosmeirch (near to Llangefni) is the first and thus the oldest chapel on Anglesey - founded in 1749. It is still used to this day, and has a congregation of between 15 and 25 each service. The first Minister named William Pritchard, who died in 1773 is buried in the centre of the graveyard, and there is a brass memorial to him in the vestibule.

I was able to gain access to the chapel via the caretaker, who lives in the ty capel (chapel house), and I thank him for his time in accommodating me.
