Anglesey, Hen Capel Lligwy Old Church - The remains of original early 12th century single cell church, with the later south chapel.

This Church dates from the 12th century, but undoubtedly would have been built on the site of a much earlier church, probably of Celtic origin.

The area has signs of human habitation spanning thousands of years, with the Din Lligwy Hut Circle a 4th century Romano British settlement, not a couple of hundred yards away. Equidistance is the Din Lligwy Cromlech (burial chamber) which dates to between 2500-2000BC.
