Churches of the World High resolution old and contemporary photographs of Churches and other places of Worship in Llanfair yn Neubwll in the county of Anglesey (Sir Fôn) in North Wales, part of the United Kingdom. Llanfihangel yn Nhowyn, St Michael's Church Raf Valley In 1985 it was decided to enlarge and modernise this church, set amongst the then married quarters of RAF Valley. To provide the stone, the nearby church of Llanynghenedl was demolished. The demolition and rebuilding work was carried out with the greatest care and respect - especially concerning any graves affected by the enlargement of the 'new' Church. When the new Church was opened in 1987 everyone agreed that the work had been a great success, the result being a sizeable, modern Church with all amenities, which will serve the community for many years to come. You may select from a place name in the left hand column, or search using the box below - tip: inserting the place name may be the quickest way to find your church.
