Anglesey, Llanfeirian, St Meirians Church - the remains of Llanfeirian Church yard.

There are now no remains of the St Meirian's Church building, but it was originally a Parish Church, and probably later a Chapel of Ease, which by 1775 had started to fall into ruin. The 'Llan' is in a field on a farm known as 'Plas Bach', not far from the village of Hermon, and also close to the Bodorgan Estate.

The area was also known as Eglwys Ael.

If you have any pictures of any religious building in any country, then please scan them in at a high resolution, but at least 1280 pixels width, and email them to me here.

Not just a photo of the outside of your place of worship, but also of the people that use it, and the inside, and even of the graveyard, and of the interesting tombstones.

In addition, if you want to tell us about your special place, then we will display your story, so as every visitor may learn and appreciate what your place of worship is about.
