Churches of the World High resolution old and contemporary photographs of Churches and other places of Worship in Llanfeirian in the county of Anglesey (Sir Fôn) in North Wales, part of the United Kingdom. Anglesey, Llanfeirian, St Meirians Church - the remains of Llanfeirian Church yard. There are now no remains of the St Meirian's Church building, but it was originally a Parish Church, and probably later a Chapel of Ease, which by 1775 had started to fall into ruin. The 'Llan' is in a field on a farm known as 'Plas Bach', not far from the village of Hermon, and also close to the Bodorgan Estate. The area was also known as Eglwys Ael. You may select from a place name in the left hand column, or search using the box below - tip: inserting the place name may be the quickest way to find your church.
If you have any pictures of the places of worship of any religion in any country, then please scan your photographs or postcards in at a high resolution, but at least 1280 pixels width, and email them to me here.
