Anglesey, Llanfair-Mathafarn-Eithaf, Tabernacl Chapel - view from the road

Llanfair Mathafarn Eithaf is situated close to the seaside town of Benllech, and is a rural area. I was lucky enough to be shown into Tabernacl Chapel by the lady from the Chapel House. Tabernacl is a typical medium size welsh chapel, with copious amounts of beautiful wooden adornments and furniture. When I visited in July 2008 the chapel was hoping for various grants in order for them to restore the building and fittings to their former glory. It was a privilege to be shown around such a wonderful chapel, which according to a date stone on the outside of the chapel was founded in 1834, but according to a date in the vestibule was 1820.
