Llanedwen is located very close to Plas Newydd, the ancestral home of the Marquesses of Anglesey. There are several gravestones in the churchyard in memory of various Marquesses of Anglesey, at this moment in time I do not know if they are actually buried there.
Located just above the shores of the Menai Straits, Llanedwen looks over to Port Dinorwic in Caernarfonshire.
