St Mary's, Tal-y-Llyn Church was a chapel of ease to the parish church of Llanbeulan. The church still hosts services now and again, and the church is now in the care of the Friends of the Friendless Churches organisation. I was lucky enough to see inside on the 21st September 2008 - an open day that I had seen advertised on a note on the door the previous day.

The church had been restored after possibly squaytters had set the church on fire. Much of the woodwork - including all but one of the 16th century bench pews had been destroyed. There is no electric, and any services held are by candlelight - I can just imagine the atmosphere
