Churches of the World High resolution old and contemporary photographs of Churches and other places of Worship in Bodedern in the county of Anglesey (Sir Fôn) in North Wales, part of the United Kingdom. Anglesey, Bodedern, St Edern's Church, 1803 Gravestone and Rhyme of Fate The above gravestone with all mens fate reads:- Pray stop your foot and cast an eye, Bodedern is one of the most ancient holy places on Anglesey. The 5th century Eglwys Edern (St Edern's Church) was excavated on a hill in Bodedern, and many christian grave burials were found. Most were cist burials, and at least one was a lintel burial. The lintel turned out to be an engraved stone, which is now housed within the present day Church.
