St Mary's & St Nicholas's Church in Beaumaris is certainly one of the most interesting of the churches on Anglesey, not least because of its architectural beauty, but also because of the wealth of history within its' walls. The sarcophogus of Joan, wife to Prince Llewellyn is housed within the church porch.It is rumoured that it was found on a farm nearby - being used as a water trough for livestock.
